LOCKSMITH

Nature of work:

• Your responsibilities at Western Central Laboratory will include maintenance and repair of measuring instruments & devices.
• Inspection of measuring instruments and welding equipment.
• Technical assessment, adjustment, calibration of control measuring devices.
• Preparation of measuring instruments for metrological inspection.

We think you would do best if you have:

• Professional technical education.
• Work experience as a locksmith and electrician.

Salary:

1200-1500 €/month. Net (before taxes).

NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT) TECHNICIAN

Nature of work:

• Your responsibilities at Western Central Laboratory will include working with equipment and devices on ships, in production facilities and on business trips abroad (as needed).
• We will entrust you with the following tasks:
  • non-destructive testing (NDT) of metal structures’ materials and welds.
  • metal structures’ residual thickness measurements (UTM).
  • the assessment of testing results based on conformity standards, filling out relevant documents and reports.
  • performance of other job-related functions.

The performance of job tasks may take place both in Lithuania and abroad.

We think you would do best if:

• You have work experience in performing NDT using the following methods: VT, MT, PT, UT, RT, ET, and LT.
• You have a good command of English language (spoken and written) and Russian language (an advantage).
• You have computer literacy skills.
• Can work on your own or as a team member.
• Work experience abroad is an advantage.
• A category B driver’s license is obligatory.
• Knowledge of welding processes (IWE, IWI, IWT and CSWIP) is an advantage.

We provide on-the-job training and specialised courses, including the issuance of a qualification certificate after completing a relevant course and passing examinations.

2,000-4,000 €/month. Net (before taxes). Overtime and business trips may apply.
