Leak testing is a non-destructive testing method designed to check if welds, plugs and other surfaces do not leak liquids or gases. This method is also known as tightness control. Usually, such tests are conducted when pressure tests are impossible, or access is only possible from one side.
When conducting this type of test, the specialists of WESTERN CENTRAL LABORATORY make use of the bubble emission technique: a forming solution and a vacuum pressure are applied to the surface to be inspected. Pfeiffer SNP 002 and Pfeiffer PK electric pumps are used for leak testing.
